FAQ

The Lowdown

What services do you provide?

I can help you with anything to do with interiors. This includes:

  • Sourcing interior products (furniture, built in cabinetry, soft furnishings, accessories, lighting and more)
  • Assisting with building and renovating – including selection of fixtures and fittings, colour palette and finishes
  • e-Consults – for interstate or remote clients
  • Sourcing and commissioning artwork
  • Styling for Photography – interiors and products
  • Personal Shopping

How much do you charge?

Each project is unique or different so requires me to work out an estimated cost for you. This can be based on an hourly rate or a project fee dependant on how large or small the job is. I have access to many Australian industry related businesses where I am able to receive trade discounts for items for your home which I can pass onto my clients. This works favorably for all my clients who wish to fit out their spaces.

How long does it take?

An initial consultation takes around 1 hour, from there it depends on the scale of your project but we discuss that during our meeting.

What’s the process?

We make a suitable time for me to visit you, usually in your home if convenient for an initial consultation.
We discuss your project, what you are looking to achieve and how you want your space transformed and I will ask you a lot of questions.

If you require more than a consultation for advice, I’ll go away and work on sourcing appropriate items for your home and provide a full quote for you.

Depending on the size of the project, we could be working together anywhere from one month to one year to get to the finished result. Each job is unique.

What if I don’t live in Melbourne?

No problem. I provide e-Consults which involves filling out a questionnaire to determine your style and what room you want to work on and also providing me with measurements or a floor plan of the room, any existing photo’s you can share and an allocated spend budget.

I will source appropriate items and provide a visual look book and shopping list for you to be able to organise the transformation of your room.

What are some examples of your previous work?

Check out the gallery for some interior styling projects I’ve worked on, and even some client love.

What experience do you have?

I have over 15 years of industry experience, and have successfully renovated and developed numerous properties of my own and am still continuing to do this.

I’ve been styling properties for sale for over five years and worked as a retailer (my own store as a “pop up” shop) as well as for a high end bed linen company, where I learned a lot on the job about VM, styling display and customer service.
I’ve also been involved in numerous photo shoots, including homes for editorial print in magazines as well as product shoots.
I’ve been asked to contribute to articles for Houzz Australia and am looking at becoming a regular contributor.
I have a Bachelor of Business degree and have studied a Cert IV in Feng Shui, to which I intuitively apply the fundamentals of Feng Shui to the spaces I create.

I am a serial workshop attendee, as I enjoy the continuous journey of learning and growth both industry related and personal.
