This contemporary and updated terrace home in St Kilda East required all new furniture and decor as my client was moving in without anything. The brief was to make it feel inviting and warm, contemporary, functional, cohesive and with flow from room to room.
The master bedroom, hallway, dining area, open plan living, outdoor alfresco area and home office were completely styled and decorated. The home consisted of some interesting wall textures within the interior such as red brick and timber, and a green wall of lush bamboo externally. It was a lovely challenge to use these textures as a contrasting feature in the rooms we styled. An abundance of neutrals was mixed with texture and earthy colours, greens and touches of black introduced a sense of boldness and depth. The results were a unique and striking home complete with an abundance of greenery and plants to help bring the feel of nature inside this inner city home.
