Project included the interior decoration of a single fronted Victorian terrace. Furnished rooms included living room, dining room, master bedroom and guest bedroom
My client was living and working overseas then would be returning to Melbourne to live and wanted to furnish and set up her home.
In part of her brief, she stated that she wanted her bedroom to look like a bedroom from a “magazine feature”.
She was particularly drawn to blues and grey which featured predominantly in the rooms I worked on with the inclusion of light timbers, and she wanted everything from furniture and art to bed linen, all soft furnishings, window coverings, light fittings and decorator pieces as well as plants.
We commissioned a paper hand cut and painted feather artwork for the dining room, and used photographic art in the bedroom that my client felt drawn to because of the beautiful blue tones. We curated a gallery art wall in the living room using pieces my client already had and wasn’t sure how or if they could be included in her new home makeover.
We also used her original bedroom furniture in the guest bedroom to create a brand new master suite and installed new curtains and plantation shutters in the bedrooms.
