It might be a tricky space that leaves you scratching your head or it could be deciding between paint samples, tiles, what shape dining table will work in your room or which pendant lights to install in your entry, the best place to hang your art or which sofa style might be the best for your living space. I’ll make sure you’re on the right track and help you make the decisions you need to finish the job!
This could be for you if:
- You have a project in the pipe line and are looking for guidance to streamline the ideas and choices you have already made
- You aren’t completely confident that all of your selections will flow well throughout the entire house
- You need a fresh set of eyes to give you the confidence and peace of mind to move forward
In this two hour session, we go through each of the rooms and over the selections you have made and ensure that everything flows and works well together to ensure you achieve the right style, look and feel for your space. This could be going over choices for flooring, tiles, paint, joinery, window furnishings and tap ware. It might also be working out what the best window treatments for your rooms are, looking at what new furnishings are required for a space and also placement and layout.
This is a great session where you get to ask all the burning questions and for us to give you some quality advice on what I believe will work well for your home so you can feel confident you are on the right track.
This could be for finishing off a few rooms with key pieces, or starting from a blank slate for one room or an entire home; it could also be for materials, fixtures and fittings selections for building or renovating , perhaps an office reception area or even for putting together a holiday home.
Whatever your requirements are, let me take care of the details for you.
The process, depending on your project, may include all or some of these steps:
Initial Consult
This involves a 1 hour meeting with you at your property to discuss the scope and details of your project including style, budget investment and colour palette. I’ll do a quick measure up and take photos of your rooms for reference. I’ll then be able to send to you an estimate of costs for design fees, and an idea of what you need to budget for furniture in each room.
Concept
If you are happy to proceed and engage my services, then together we will work on a look and feel concept of your spaces based on our initial meeting. We’ll fine tune this together with mood boards, any relevant samples and inspiration found from various sources and imagery.

Once the overall concept has been determined and approved, I’ll start sourcing and specifying products relating back to the brief and scope of works. This is where you start making decisions about specific products. This may involve visits to showrooms, sitting on sofas and dining chairs, selecting from fabric swatches and timber samples.
Procure
When you have made all the final decisions on what products you wish to proceed with, I’ll then start the procurement process of ordering all the items from suppliers tracking their progress and organising delivery to you.
Style
Once all of the items have been delivered to you, I will come over and style everything up in your rooms!
